about
Although I don’t believe hypochondria is pathological in my case - my therapist told me so -, I do tend to interpret the slightest aches of my body as a sign of severe illness. Perhaps this apprehension of being stricken with a severe disease took roots in this idea that I am made of flesh and blood, nerves and bones, and, around me, plants and trees grow, insects buzz, birds chirp, clouds drift in the sky, rain falls, and I often disregard the fact that I am also an intimate part of a grand scheme that involves my own mortality.

lyrics
Unduly drawn into slightest aches of my body
And I know it sounds quite foolish
When I said I’ve got all symptoms of the white coat syndrome
But I may never recover from it
You were holding on for me so I could take my breath, you told me
Nothing ever happened to you
It happens sometimes
I get overly drawn
In the slightest aches of my body
Well, it might be nothing at all
But I keep thinking about
I keep thinking about
Oh I've been thinking about you,
It makes a difference to me sometimes
Back and forth in that hospital gown
You know I’m hardly relieved
When my mind is wandering again
Looking for a sign of disease
As if it was a return of misdeeds
Well, it might be nothing at all
You were holding on to me so I could take a breath, you told me
Nothing ever happened to you
It happens sometimes
I get overly drawn
In the slightest aches of my body
Well, it might be nothing at all
But I keep thinking about
I keep thinking about
Oh I've been thinking about you,
It makes a difference to me sometimes
